This morning take an excursion to the Featherbed Nature Reserve for some hiking, a ferry ride and then a 4 x 4 vehicle trip to the headland onto the Reserve, stopping at spectacular viewpoints. Your Local Specialist will give you information on the fauna and flora. Perhaps venture further and take an optional guided 2.2km walk through coastal forest and fynbos into ancient sea caves. After taking in all the spectacular views, enjoy a scrumptious lunch with your family at an outdoor restaurant under a canopy of Milkwood trees. This morning marks the start of a day of adventure in Oudtshoorn - also known as the "Feather Capital" of South Africa due to its ostrich farm industry. Our first visit will be a guided tour of a working Ostrich Farm where you learn about the largest bird on earth. Continue to Kobus se Gat located at the foothills of the majestic Swartberg Mountains and enjoy an authentic Be My Guest South African Braai. After lunch visit a local school in Oudtshoorn - a Join Trafalgar initiative. The day ends with a visit to the Cango Caves, a subterranean wonderland of magnificent stalactite and stalagmite rocks. Drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire's Paradise from Clifton to Camps Bay. Then wind along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs before arriving for lunch at the Cape of Good Hope. A funicular takes you from Cape Point up to the lighthouse for outstanding views. Meander back along the coast visiting the historic naval port of Simon's Town.
