Amritsar Sightseeing

(Relaxed Start) After breakfast, enjoy a visit to the Golden Temple complex. Walking through the gates, you are treated to one of the most beautiful sights in India, ringed by a shimmering lake, the gold-plated temple is said to be even more impressive than the Taj Mahal. You will also visit the Jallianwala Bagh memorial, site of the Amritsar massacre in 1919, followed by a city tour. In the afternoon, witness the Flag Retreat ceremony at the Wagah border, where Indian and Pakistani soldiers march in perfect drill and the ceremonial lowering of the national flags is carried out with great pomp.

Amritsar Sightseeing

Number of Days : 1

A morning visit to a local village and colourful market. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. In the evening, we return to the Golden Temple to participate in the ‘putting to bed' ceremony.

Depart Amritsar

Number of Days : 1

After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the International Airport for your onward flights.
