Meet up with your Contiki team this morning before we make our way through the countryside to Dover & ferry across the English Channel. We’ll then head across Belgium before hitting the cool & relaxed city of Amsterdam, where the fun really starts.
These canal lined streets are buzzing with little cafés, restaurants & filled with cyclists weaving their way along the cobbles. Enjoy an included dinner before heading out to explore Amsterdam by night
Known for its colourful Red Light District, you’ll take a walking tour of these famous streets to see what it’s all about, while learning about Amsterdam’s history. Later, why not keep it moving with a fun night out. There are heaps of pumping clubs & pubs so ask your Trip Manager for some tips on where to head.

See one of the most photographed spots in the world when we visit the famous Keukenhof Gardens. With 6 million tulips and the country’s top flower bulbs on display, the colourful gardens are totally spectacular.
Later, there’s a chance to visit the pretty fishing village of Volendam and experience a slice of maritime tradition with our optional dinner at an old-style Dutch restaurant by the sea.

Amsterdam

Cruise into the countryside and bike around like the laid back locals, past working windmills, to the world-famous cheese village of Edam. In an intro into Dutch culture, see how clogs are made and try some of the famous Dutch Edam at a cheese farm.
Experience Amsterdam’s coffee shops, museums and cool, quirky boutiques. In your free time, wander along shady canals and pass gabled houses. Try out Amsterdam’s multi-ethnic cuisine. This cultural melting pot dishes up loads of affordable food.

Amsterdam to London
Number of Days : 1
Circle back to France via Belgium and ferry across the English Channel to England. A short drive brings us back to London where the tour ends and it’s time to say farewell to your new friends.
