Arrive Athens

Check-in to your hotel and spend the afternoon getting a sneak peek at Athens, Europe’s oldest city. This evening meet your Trip Representative and fellow Contiki travellers.
Start your trip off with a night to remember and get to know your group at an optional dinner in the rustic district of Plaka. Perched on the shady slopes beneath the Acropolis, Plaka is full of traditional tavernas that spill out onto the pavements.

Cruising to Mykonos

Cruise your way through the Aegean to the paradise island of Mykonos. Hang out on the island famous for its golden beaches, cosmopolitan atmosphere, great shopping & party culture.

Cruising to Patmos via Kusadasi
Number of Days : 1
In the morning, wake up to the Turkish port town of Kusadasi. Rummage through the Grand Bazaar and go local bargaining for leather goods, jewellery or local crafts. Otherwise hook up with the group and our Local Guide for an optional excursion to ancient Ephesus, a stunningly preserved city that Mark Antony and Cleopatra once visited.
Our next port of call is Patmos, with its sacred spots and wild countryside. Get the background from your Rep on why this island attracts both pilgrims and holiday makers. Explore the monasteries, traditional settlements and country churches.
Get into the spirit of the island with an optional excursion that takes you to Patmos’ UNESCO World Heritage sites: the 11th century Monastery of the Apocalypse and to the Grotto of St. John – the hilltop cave where John the Apostle lived for many years.

Cruising to Rhodes

Rhodes has it all, smack in the middle of three continents, it serves up a mix of relics from different civilisations alongside a modern laid back vibe. Wind your way through the walls of the Old Town and discover life in ancient Greece, shop up a storm in the waterfront boutiques or dive into the turquoise ocean.

Cruising to Santorini via Crete

Start the day in Heraklion, the main port of Crete. The rich history of the island is none more evident that at the Palace of Knossos from where the Minoans ruled, one of the most advanced civilizations in all Antiquity.
Later, the ship will leave for Santorini. Enjoy a nice lunch and relax on deck while you sail through the turquoise sea to this iconic Greek island. We will disembark and transfer to the hotel, then take the opportunity to start exploring the picture perfect island!

Santorini

This island will make your jaw drop with its stunning natural beauty. From the water look up at the iconic blue, domed whitewashed churches. Once we’re on land, head up the cliff and the twisting stone steps, save your breath on a donkey ride or take it easy in the cable car for views of neighbouring volcanic islands.
If you're not shopping or taking in the views, head to one of the distinctive black or red sand beaches, and soak up the breath-taking scenery, jump on an optional boat ride out to the active volcanic island of Nea Kamini or live like a local and wander through the winding streets, and enjoy the local delicacies.

Santorini to Athens

Cruise onto the final leg of our trip. Arrive in Athens for our final evening together and farewell evening out!

Depart Athens

The trip ends after breakfast and it’s time to say farewell to your new friends.
